The Australian Chapter
The OE Australian Chapter is one of the most active overseas chapters. The President, Michael Diamond (Robinson 1984-89), who lives in St Ives in NSW, would be delighted to hear from any OEs residing in Australia, as well as those passing through. Mark Hohenberg (Robinson 1994-99) heads up the Sydney branch.
The chapter founder, Bob Newman (Wilson 1943-46), served as President for eight years and was succeeded by John Fairfield (Crawfurd 1952-57), who retired after five years in the post. With the assistance of Alison Holmes (White House 1986-88), they hosted barbecues at their homes, arranged events for visiting rugby, netball and hockey teams from the College, organised a gathering at the Brighton Croquet Club (Melbourne) and lunches at Wolfies Restaurant (Sydney).
