'A school is a school is a school...unless it has a history. A history of why it was founded and what people have achieved. It adds hugely to the feeling of why we are here.'
Alan Scadding, College Archivist, Former Head of History.
Epsom College is proud of its history and is committed to the development of the College Archive, which is an important resource for OEs, parents and pupils alike. Many of the publications produced by the OE Club and Education Trust in recent years, were made possible through documents and photographs maintained in the Archive. Work is currently being undertaken to identify and digitise many photographs and historical records. If you have an artifact or photos to donate, get in touch.
Help needed to identify photos
We have a wonderful array of photos in our Archive, but many are uncaptioned. We would be very grateful for any help OEs can give us in identifying years, faces and places. Please get in touch if you are able to help with any of the photos featured in our e-newsletter, OEzine - just click on the issue dates below. Many more will be added over the coming months.
