Chair of Campaign Board explains why he is supporting The Mermaid
Mr Ashley Head, Chair of the Campaign Board for The Mermaid building, the College's proposed Centre for Excellence, explains why he is supporting the campaign.
"As Chair of the Campaign Board, I have been privileged to lead and support the campaign from the outset, by striving towards the Headmaster's vision to create a space for pupils to come together, particularly in the Sixth Form. Both of my sons, Ryon (F 2008-2013) and Liam (F 2013-2018), have benefited from a first rate education at Epsom College, which has provided them with the use of exceptional facilities and engendered within them a strong sense of community.
"By supporting the campaign, I feel I am helping Epsom achieve its ambitions, as well as providing a facility to support the next generation of students. I hope the whole Epsom community will get involved with the campaign in the coming months and take part in the many exciting upcoming events, including The Great Epsom Mud Run on 16th September."
The College is grateful for Ashley's leadership and support of all the Campaign Board members. With Ashley at the helm, the campaign has got off to a flying start, and we also thank him and his family for all they are doing to make The Great Epsom Mud Run a success.
