The 50 strong Chapel Choir were in fine voice singing a varied programme of liturgical music which included Noble's majestic setting of the Evening Service in B minor alongside Palestrina's setting of Psalm 42 ‘Sicut Cervus'.
Director of Music, Mr Paul Johnson-Hyde, commented, "It was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to experience one of the country's most iconic cathedrals and sing in an impressive acoustic."
Prior to Evensong, the Education Trust & OE Club organised a guided tour of the cathedral and afternoon tea in the crypt for 40 parents, grandparents, OEs and friends of the College.
